Disciples’ Literal New Testament

9 And Jesus said to them, “I am asking you[a] if it is lawful[b] on the Sabbath to do-good or to do-harm, to save a life or to destroy it?” 10 And having looked-around at them all, He said to him, “Stretch-out your hand”. And the one did it, and his hand was restored. 11 And they were filled with rage[c], and were talking-over with one another what they might do to Jesus.

  2. Luke 6:9 The answer is that is makes no difference. It is good to do good and wrong to do harm on all seven days. The Sabbath is a rest from one’s work, not from doing good.
